Review of Wild Wild Wet Water Park in Singapore
Our boys love a good water park when we travel to different cities and we had been tossing up between Adventure Cove and Wild Wild Wet when visiting Singapore. The reviews about long queues at Adventure Cove put us off so we decided to try out Wild Wild Wet and we were glad we did. Went on a Sunday in August 2014, travelled by Taxi from Marina Bay which took about 30 mins (Sin $20). We arrived just after opening which is 10.00am on weekends and the park was very quiet so no queuing up for rides. Cost for a family was Sin $60 which we found good value for a days outing.
There are 5 main water slides along with a lazy river, wave pool, Jacuzzi and kids adventure playground. This waterpark was perfect for our kids (aged 7 & 9 at the time) as the rides were not too scary. Probably wouldn’t recommend as much for families with older teenagers as they may find it a little tame and the park is not huge. I would say this park is suited to kids aged 12 and under. The crowd started to build up later in the afternoon but the wait times were still ok.
Wild Wild Wet has plenty of sun lounges in shaded areas along with lockers available to rent to store any valuables. There was food available inside the waterpark but you could also leave the park to get something from the connecting Downtown East complex which was cheaper to eat at. Because of the Downtown East complex, we also got a taxi back to the city straight away. Would recommend getting there early and having a fun day out.
Please note that this park is closed on Tuesdays. Opening hours on Mon, Wed, Fri are 1pm-7pm and on Sat and Sun 10am – 7pm.
